 Desiree from Germany:
“It was so much fun to study with Manuel. I took Spanish and Salsa lessons for one year with him. He is a great teacher. I always spoke Spanish with him and even if it is hard at the beginning you learn a lot more and you will see, Manuel can explain everything, even if you don't know any Spanish! I also loved the Salsa lessons and I think he is the best salsa dancer in town and you should join him at ‘FIESTAS’! He teached us not just Spanish or Salsa, he showed us the Ecuadorian life: culture, politics, football ;) and his jokes are unforgettable ;) He is always a great friend you can count on and talk to. Hopefully we will see each other again.” Desiree, Salzbergen - Germany |

Wendy from the US: "Quito, Ecuador is a great place to study Spanish. I've been lucky enough to study in Quito twice with Manuel. Manuel is an excellent teacher who challenges you, but makes the challenge fun! (Not to mention he is also a talented dancer.) The people of Quito are warm and friendly, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to practice Spanish with locals. Manuel is also a very knowledgeable guide who gives excellent tours of all the wonderful things Quito has to offer; there is the historic "el centro" or old downtown Quito, the markets, the mountains and surrounding nature, etc. No matter what your personal interest is Manuel and Quito have something for your to explore. You'll enjoy your stay and come away with new friends and Spanish skills that will last a lifetime." Wendy Garringer, United States |

 Tobias from Germany:
"Having lived in Quito for an entire year, I found that Manuel - who taught me Spanish throughout my time there - was the best language teacher that I have ever had. He is an absolute expert in the Spanish language, has a firm grip of the necessary grammatical concepts and stresses the importance of conversation practice. It is simply the best way to gain a fluent command of Spanish - and besides that, it is really just a lot of fun to take Spanish with Manuel!" Tobias Thiel, Germany |

Philipp from Germany: "Manuel has really been a friend rather than a mere teacher. He can take you to places you will not find on your own, he takes care of your first needs upon arrival and he never says no to a night out. That we are still in touch after six years may be proof enough that he has become „un gran amigo“ indeed. However, he really is a great teacher too. His classes have always been well planned. The course material is well structured and free of charge. He assesses the work load individually, depending on the time you want to spend for your studies. To sum up, I can say that working with Manuel has been a wonderful and – what is even more important – long-lasting experience. So don't hesitate to contact Quito's best Spanish teacher!" Naoko from Japan: "I studied with him for 5 weeks in Quito. He is very talkative and his class is so useful especially to improve your conversation skills. He is an active and outgoing person so that he often took me out to the park, market, etc. We had some casual and natural talks with shop staffs and that made me happy because I knew my Spanish was understandable after a few weeks study with Manuel! When I just arrived in Quito I needed decades minutes to explain my home place to taxi drivers and as a result I got lost but now I directly go back home with any driver! You will get more chances and happiness by studying Spanish with Manue!" Naoko Ishida, Japan |
